JCI Nigeria Honours PR Specialist, Usman Issa BusyBrain with Award
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria has honoured a renowned Public Relations Specialist and Journalist, Usman Issa BusyBrain, with an award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the organization. The award was presented to Busy Brain on behalf of his platform, Salient Reporters, during the 23rd Convention and 24th Investiture Ceremony of the JCI Federal Polytechnic Offa chapter.
The Polytechnic chapter held the ceremony on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the OPWA Hall, Offa, Kwara State.
The event, themed “Make A Difference: Engage. Empower. Impact,” saw the outgoing president, Raji Elizabeth Omayoza, hand over the reins to the president-elect, Alade Elizabeth Bukola.
The ceremony featured a series of events, including the arrival of guests, introduction of special guests, national anthem, JCI creed, and speeches by the outgoing and incoming presidents.
The award was given in recognition of Usman Issa’s platform, Salient Reporters, “for its transformative contributions, financial support, and material investments that have significantly advanced the organization’s growth and impact.”
In an interview with Busy Brain, he expressed his gratitude to the JCI Federal Polytechnic Offa chapter for the award. “I am humbled and honored to receive this award. It is an indicator to the hard work and dedication of my team at Salient Reporters,” he said.
Busy Brain further stated, “This award will serve as a motivation for us to continue doing what we do best – promoting excellence and supporting initiatives that drive positive change.”
The award ceremony was part of the organization’s efforts to appreciate individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to its development.
Other events at the ceremony included the theme speaker’s presentation, interludes, presentation of certificates, photo sessions, and the investiture of the new president.
The outgoing president, Raji Elizabeth Omayoza, delivered a speech, while the president-elect, Alade Elizabeth Bukola, gave an acceptance speech after being sworn in. The event ended with a vote of thanks, photo sessions, and a dance party.
